Historical 1885 Viennese shoe manufacturer Ludwig Reiter first produced this rain boot exclusively for Rier in 2022. Extremely comfortable thanks to its neoprene interior lining and leather footbed, this lightweight boot is as versatile as it is functional. Completing the Spring 2025 silhouette, it is reinvented in a new variation of inox grey leather.

Spring 2025 is a celebration of effortless, collected elegance.
Rier’s Walker and fleece icons made in Austria are now evenly paired with a new, ultralight deconstructed popeline suit, a tailored denim ensemble and bonded nappa leather. The new silhouettes are light, crisp and sharp.
Spring 2025 is cradled in mellow, powdered tones exclusively developed for Rier: earthy argile, mineral chalk and soft lilac, are mirrored by the deeper tones of anthracite and dark green ivy. With a single dash of a glacial blue, Rier introduces a new range of light pastel greens.
At the heart of Spring 2025, the light, unstructured wool and cotton popeline suit embodies the season's effortless elegance. Tailored in Italy, it is composed of light jackets matched with loose bermuda trousers, tailored chinos and layered apron-mini-skirts. Ideally worn with a black cotton t-shirt, the suit is available in the collection’s soft, neutral tones.
For Spring 2025 Rier’s Walker is given new form and function, with a deep V-neck, applied to a cardigan, gilet, a top and mini-dress available in black, agile, lilac, inox and chalk.
An Austrian wardrobe staple dating back to the middle ages, the Walker wool fabric is woven like a knit and felted like a Loden, creating a unique balance that allows it not to wrinkle, and combines lightness, natural stretch, softness and durability.
The seamless fine-rib 100% silk knits are crafted with a fully automated, extremely precise machine traditionally used to create technical sportswear. The Wholegarment® machine was recalibrated by Rier to create lightweight knits that function as a first base layer. This year, Rier developed four new monochrome colours, that blend into the season’s outerwear spirit.
The 100% cotton windbreaker items are a testament to Rier’s dedication to technical gear crafted with natural materials. Offering a fluid, lightweight outer layer, the windbreaker jacket is a versatile alternative to match this season’s classic suiting styles.
The Spring 2025 cotton popeline items are made in a compact English style fabric, featuring a longer bust and no cuffs, exuding effortless simplicity. Worn with new jersey t-shirts in sophisticated mismatching nuances exclusively developed for Rier ranging from linden green, argile, ivy and black. The historical flower embroidery is applied in mismatching green variations.
A Rier icon, the 100% natural wool fleece is biodegradable, preventing the diffusion of micro plastics into the ecosystem. The fleece offers a minimal take on this mountain-infused, vintage climbers’ wardrobe staple, crafted in Austria. For Spring 2025, the fleece is developed in new earthy shades of argile, chalk and linden green, culminating in a long sleeved, slightly cropped glacial blue variant.
Rier elevates the plain cotton jersey t-shirt making it an essential component of its Spring 2025 style. Crafted in sophisticated, exclusively dyed shades of light greens and black, it is most interestingly worn with the new Rier suit, or more intuitively with the new Salomon hiking mid-boot, over silk fine rib Wholegarment® underwear.
Rier introduces two new prestigious light leather items: a jacket and knee-high trousers made in Italy with richly textured bonded leather, tanned with a chrome-free, deep ivy green dye. Completely unlined, with a double layer nappa leather structure, the jacket is as minimalist as modern, and complimentary to the collection's jersey t shirt and bermuda shorts.
For Spring 2025 Rier introduces five new light washed cotton denim items, crafted with prestigious deadstock Japanese denim, in deep anthracite grey, verging on black. These trousers, tops, shirts, skirts, and bermuda styles, which classically are not found in denim, are tailored with artisanal savoir-faire in Italy.
For the second iteration of its collaboration with Salomon, Rier presents the XA MID GTX, an ultra light gore-tex tactical mid-boot. Developed for Trail Running, its 3D Advanced Chassis sole guides the foot even on the roughest terrains, offering great protection and stability for all-trek comfort. It is produced as a limited edition in Rier’s Spring 2025 natural argile colour.
Ludwig Reiter’s Norwegian derby made in Vienna is crafted with high quality bark-tanned calf leather that is particularly robust. This tanning process results in a high inherent fat content which makes it naturally water-repellent. Its rubber sole and shearling lining offer optimal comfort.
